Marketing Programs Manager ? Partner Ecosystem
The Marketing Programs Manager will manage end-to-end marketing programs for the FireEye partner ecosystem, working closely with the channel and alliances sales and marketing teams. In addition to managing overall partner marketing program objectives and implementing new phases over time, this role focuses on event management, online marketing and content creation, communication to partners as well as creating and managing lead generation campaigns for our products and integrated solutions with partners. A key objective is to make sure FireEye is integrated into the right programs and events related to our partnerships, allowing them to obtain qualified leads that convert to sales. Your role will also be responsible for maintaining marketing program schedules and holding meaningful marketing cadence meetings with partners with follow-up reporting to keep initiatives successfully on track.
The Marketing Programs Manager must be able to communicate effectively across all areas of the company. You will report to the Senior Manager of Channel & Alliances Marketing and work closely with the channel and technology alliances sales teams to define partner program enhancements and leverage the full marketing mix for success. This position must operate at both strategic and tactical levels, developing strategic plans and then executing on those plans.
Participate in the development and execution of annual and quarterly marketing plans for key channel and alliance partners including internal cadence communications, external communications, and lead generation programs resulting in increased lead generation and drive qualification and conversion to sales
Work with the various teams to: include messaging in the partner newsletter, maintain pages on the Partner Portal and Corporate website presence, maintain all program documents and provide ongoing communications and resources for the partners, field and related teams around program related campaigns, initiatives and benefits.
Knowledge and experience marketing solutions in one or more of the following areas: Network security, email and Web security products, cloud security.
Work collaboratively as a single virtual team with marketing personnel across partnership organizations
Optimize the presence of the FireEye solution and marketing benefits within partner organizations and activities, e.g. web presence, syndicated content
Create customer case studies based on joint customers with partners
Analyze partner productivity and develop tools and resources to drive best-in-class sales and marketing behavior from our partners
Increase awareness, market leadership and sales of FireEye and partner integrated solutions
Assist with annual Global Partner Conference event activities, annual Partner Advisory Board meetings, satisfaction and other surveys as well as the FireEye partner of the year award nomination and judging process
Required Skills & Experience
The requirements of this role include strong marketing experience in the technology industry and successful management of partner ecosystem marketing programs. Specific experience in management of lead generation campaigns as well as building positive, productive relationships with channel and alliance partners is critical. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage a partner ecosystem marketing program, providing continuous improvement through tools, resources, communication, lead-gen and sales incentive campaigns, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
6 to 10 years marketing experience with at least 4 years in the technology sector supporting partners
Ability to think creatively about marketing opportunities, and create the business case (cost-benefit) for an idea
Understanding of lead generation programs with experience creating and implementing lead gen campaigns (from invitations to creating presentations to running events and reporting success metrics to management)
Strong project and/or program management skills and history of marketing network security technology and solutions
Great relationship-building skills with proven ability to forge successful business partnerships that lead to improved revenue
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation ? examples of previous work optimal) and attention to detail
Strong cross team collaborator
Knowledge of and experience with online marketing principles (Email Marketing, setting up and driving attendance to Webcasts)
MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel (including Pivot tables), Webex, Go-To- Meeting
Experience with Word Press, Marketo, Salesforce.com, Adobe preferred
BA or BS Degree required
