Job Overview:
The SMB Marketing Programs Manager is a key hire for Concur and should be a master of marketing program management and execution in a B2B SaaS environment. Reporting to the Sr. Director, SMB Marketing Programs, this person will execute on marketing strategies and programs designed to support the acquisition of new customers for the SMB segment.
This role is responsible for developing and executing a wide variety of high impact, multi-channel marketing programs to create and nurture qualified sales leads and pipeline for the SMB segment. In addition to planning and measuring programs with the Sr. Director, this individual will be hands-on in the day-to-day execution of all aspects of direct response and lead nurture campaigns including email marketing, cost per acquisition programs, webinars, etc. The manager will also work closely with Online Marketing and Web Strategy teams to drive demand, and with Marketing Operations to measure and track Marketing effectiveness. The candidate should possess particular flair for online marketing, market segmentation, direct marketing, marketing automation, and lead management.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Sr. Director SMB Marketing Programs and the SMB Marketing team to execute Concur?s SMB Marketing strategy
Implement and bring to life high impact, integrated campaigns to generate demand, qualified leads and sales pipeline
Effectively partner with cross-functional teams (product management, marketing operations, marketing communications and online marketing) to drive end-to-end campaign execution
Maintain a relationship of trust and partnership with our sales organization allowing for a connected sales and marketing mentality
Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns, with the purpose of improving resource allocation, efficiency and revenue generation
Align marketing programs and activities with overall corporate marketing strategy
Be aware of, and comply with, corporate policies
Position Requirements
Education, Experience & Training required:
College degree with 3+ years experience in B2B SaaS marketing
Have lived and breathed demand funnel metrics across product, geographic and vertical segments
Expertise in drip and nurture marketing campaigns
Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce.com), marketing automation (Eloqua), web analytics (Omniture) and campaign tracking tools as well as MS Office applications
Ability to pass a background check
