The Marketing Programs Manager is a strategic, metric-driven marketer responsible for developing, tracking and managing the execution of the marketing programs plan. This role will work collaboratively within the single cell product marketing team to develop and execute a comprehensive and integrated marketing plan across multiple outbound marketing channels to increase market awareness and drive demand generation and lead development. The qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful history in a marketing role with responsibilities in creating and driving campaigns & programs that reach new customers, and expanding customer retention and revenue growth within the existing single cell customer base.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive the development and execution of targeted marketing messaging and programs, go-to-market strategy and tactical activities, managing and liaising agency and other functional marketing managers when appropriate.
Embrace customer and marketing insights to ensure that all layouts and copy deliver on the Creative Brief. Ensure product positioning is effectively communicated and reaches the appropriate target audience.
Create promotional marketing collateral as well as educational collateral (videos, tutorials and webinars) to drive awareness, generate demand and build customer loyalty. This includes coordination with the Product Management group, external vendors and other domestic and international business units to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
Create demand in the marketplace via print and on-line advertising placements as well as via paid search and display vehicles e.g. banner advertisements, GenomeWeb daily news headers and print advertisements.
Partner with product marketing and regional marketing partners to develop programs for existing products and to launch new technologies at key tradeshows and conferences.
Maintain overall project timelines for programs and campaigns.
Work with the regional marketing and sales teams to ensure that they are briefed on marketing programs and have the right tools to follow up as required.
Capture, measure and analyze relevant data across lead generation activities and programs to evaluate effectiveness and ROI. Collect information and data to produce consolidated monthly campaign metrics. This will include reporting on new registrants, outbound sales efforts, and lead gen results.
Assess, augment, and cleanse lead/customer database and lists for effective contact management and to improve program results.
Consistently iterate and improve marketing and lead nurturing activities through measurement and optimization.
Work with the web team to ensure that marketing programs are accurately reflected on the Fluidigm website and that all required lead acquisition components are fully in place.
Bachelor?s degree in Science or Business and seven years of experience, or any combination of education and experience.
A minimum of five years of prior experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications or Product Management in the life science industry is required for this position.
Knowledge of genomics applications is preferred.
Strong copy development and editing skills is preferred.
Proficiency working with Marketo a plus.
Experience in working with and managing external vendor / partner relationships.
Strong negotiating skills with vendors emphasizing that they ensure the highest quality and on-time delivery.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, programs, and priorities.?

Should be self-motivated and results-oriented, have excellent analytical and communication skills, and be a team player.
Proven track record and experience in leading campaign and program development.
Great attention to detail combined with the ability to prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines.
Must be independent and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
