As a Marketing Project Manager, you will be involved in starting a lead-generating, revenue-contributing marketing machine. You will interact with, and gain experience from, an experienced and talented senior management team. With success, your expectation should be a promotion to manage the marketing function, help drive the marketing strategy, and become the right-hand to the Vice President within twelve months.
On a daily basis, you will split your focus, primarily, between three activities:
Content Development ? Marketing content (case studies, product-related content, video content, etcetera) is critical to our outbound marketing success. You will be responsible for content development - curating when possible, and creating when you must.
Editorial Calendar Management ? Our editorial calendar sets the cadence for all marketing activities. You will be responsible for managing the editorial calendar and making sure that we are staying on-course and on-point.
Marketing Project Management ? In the course of any given week, there are many marketing-oriented tasks that need attention and that need to be managed to completion. These include orchestrating our presence in large media events, website and social media management, partner activities and PR efforts. You will be running point on these tasks to ensure that they completed effectively and efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong writing skills.
Demonstrated experience in tracking, prioritizing, and completing projects.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Attention to detail.
Proficiency with office productivity software and design / desktop publishing software.
Four year college degree required preferably in business administration or engineering.
3-5 years experience in a technology company or consulting firm is required.
