MARKETING & SALES SPECIALIST BaySpec
BaySpec, a fast growing manufacturer of spectral sensing instruments, is looking for a creative and committed Marketing professional with demonstrated follow-up and follow-through skills with the following experience:
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree
-
Two to three years of marketing communications experience
-
Experience in sales a plus
-
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, as well as a willingness to learn and grow professionally

Outstanding communication skills (writing, speaking, visual, and electronic)

Demonstrated 100 attention to detail and follow-up and follow-through skills

Ability to effectively communicate through multiple channels
-
Ability to participate in and contribute to group environments, including presenting and answering questions

Solid interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships, and an upbeat, positive, professional demeanor, both in person and over the phone

Computer and Internet savvy, including familiarity with MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, MS Publisher a big plus

Experience:

In a nutshell you will be responsible for creative, strategic, and tactical representation of the brand. Your specific activities will include:
-
Helping to manage 12+ upcoming trade shows per year with your ideas, planning, development, execution and measurement
-
As part of the brand team you will be responsible in making sure the brand is consistently and professionally implemented with other disciplines within marketing ensuring brand and communication language guidelines are being enforced

Generate advertisement materials, including, new product release ads, targeted publication ads, online ads
-
Responsible for website along with social media
-
Responsible for managing all collateral from banners, datasheets, catalogs, mini-catalogs, trade show booths
-
Supporting with communications, such as press releases
-
Supporting new product launches with presentations, collateral, and other deliverables
-
Building relationships with vendors to develop interactive displays, premiums, and other branding tactics
-
Developing sales support material including brochures, flyers, presentations, brand awareness, and product knowledge
-
Working on videos that highlights the product features
-
Responsible for maintaining sponsorship and marketing partnership support relationships
-

In addition, the successful candidate will provide general support to the Marketing & Sales department. We have new projects in the works all the time, and you'll take over some existing programs and launch new ones yourself. Here are a few examples of projects you'll probably get involved with:

Fielding new sales inquiries from the website, phone or at trade shows Help to generate responses for information requests, quotations

Helping to create new branded marketing & sales collateral for new and existing product lines

Going through our expanding collateral and trade shows to make sure they are all up to date and consistent with our brand strategy

Helping develop resources for distributors marcom activity needs
-
Assisting with the development of an online training module for our sales professionals and dealers alike
-
Communicate customer needs/inquiries to production team
-
Help with customer order acknowledgement, status updates, and product shipment arrangements
-
You may travel occasionally in this role for training or to attend trade shows.
