We?re searching for a Marketing Specialist who is a multi-tasker, someone that wears several hats. The main one would be that of a creative copywriter who can create innovative and powerful content fast. You?ll be responsible for developing copy and other creative material for print collateral, our company website, e-mail campaigns, social media outlets and other miscellaneous marketing vehicles.
If you have proven experience developing marketing collateral, Web content and video/demo scripts, you should apply for this rewarding position with a true industry leader. The ideal candidate should have previous experience with a software or other technology company. Marketing experience related to offering solutions to the financial services and or insurance industry is a plus.
This marketing individual will work closely with our marketing, sales, customer support, and product management teams.
Skills Requirements:
Writes clear and concise content about our products and services for use in sales & marketing collateral
Work with sales team to develop one-off pieces and other ad hoc material
Position messages for each segment of our target market of insurance carriers, distributors and agents
Manage social media outlets and create relevant content for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Create multimedia content for company?s multi-national website
Develop dynamic, on-brand PowerPoint presentations
Support on-going series of email communications
Work on crafting messaging for product releases
Modify collateral to create co-branded marketing material for customers
Collaborate on email messaging with customer support team
Support product video/demo development
Support various marketing events
Knowledge Requirements:
Understands and uses marketing material production processes.
Understands and uses basic graphic design terminology, layout and design standards.
Some web design and graphic design experience a plus.
Understands and uses communication theory, demographic and psychographic data, and the psychology of buying.
Understanding of our business, marketing materials and business jargon, the unique point of difference and our products/services.
Measurement of the return on investment (ROI); marketing materials, product/service modifications using measurement documentation procedures.
Project management; clearly articulating project scope and objectives, meetings deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, organization and vendor capabilities, and tracking/monitoring procedures.
Able to interpret and disseminate information. Able to prepare basic reports and use of the appropriate mode of communication.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or related area
Must have strong written, verbal and presentation skills with an ability to communicate at all levels within an organization
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant background and experience in a similar position is desired
Comfortable with technology and the use of standard office programs and networks
Expert with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is desirable
Strong aptitude for problem solving and technology
