Summary of Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the SVP of Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will have the opportunity to get involved with a wide variety of marketing activities including Social Media, Webinar Production, email campaigns, event support, maintaining the marketing calendar, and managing the marketing budget and expenses.This position requires flexibility, attention to detail, organization, consistent follow-up and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and demanding environment.The Marketing Specialist must also be technically savvy in order to develop an in-depth knowledge of current and future systems and tools.
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives
Social Media: Oversee Ellie Mae?s presence and postings through monitoring Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, etc. Will also ensure timely response to all postings.
Demand Generation Support: The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for mastering the webinar technologies, from setup through production and reporting. Will assist with production of emails and campaigns through Eloqua. Must also develop a thorough understanding of prospect and client lists and criteria, assist with list massaging, Salesforce.com and Eloqua data cleanup and management of unsubscribes and individual client communication requests.
Budget Management: Work with the marketing team to refine processes for initiating PO requests & tracking expenses to projects. Request and track PO?s, track and process all invoices and expenses, reconcile and categorize corporate card expenses, provide month and quarter-end accruals and track and process department T&E. Provide detailed budget reporting to SVP of Marketing, tracking to GL and project codes, rate of spend. Marketing liaison to the accounting department will also correspond with vendors regarding expenses and payments.
Tradeshow & Event Support: Will work closely with the event marketing manager to assist with tradeshows, placing event and booth orders, tracking and shipping collateral, printing, assembling and distributing staff kits. Will also setup and manage the suite calendar and interface with sales, providing instructions and support. Work with Event Marketing Manager to develop a show checklist. Provide support for annual user conference.
Marketing Communications: Will help with team stay on point by maintaining a system to request and track marketing projects, as well as maintaining an asset library and a global marketing calendar of all campaigns, communications and major projects. Also responsible for continued enhancement and maintenance of the Marketing section on EllieCentral (Intranet). Will oversee production and printing of collateral, requesting quotes and managing vendor selection and ordering for all promotional items. Point person for developing surveys and aggregating results. Monitor various mailboxes and respond or route inquiries as needed. The Marketing Specialist will also field inquiries from clients and other departments and need to respond or route inquiries.
Administrative Support: Primarily for the SVP of Marketing, pulling together bi-weekly reports, polishing PowerPoint presentations, formatting Excel reports and files. Will also assist the team with developing process documentation.
Qualifications, Skills & Education
BA / BS Degree in Marketing or Communications
3 -5 Years of marketing experience with a B2B Technology company
Highly proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel/PowerPoint/MS Office Suite
Experience with Web Conferencing tools (Adobe Connect desirable)
Experience with Salesforce.com
Experience with email marketing/marketing automation (Eloqua highly desirable)
Experience with SharePoint, WordPress desirable
Strong team player; comfortable working cross functionally
Impeccable communications skills
Proactive with a strong desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
