Manage all aspects and properties for regional events, including website postings, newsletter contributions, email communications, and budget reconciliations. This position is directly involved in the development and execution of regional tradeshows and events to support branding initiatives, lead generation and revenue goals, as well as company objectives. This position is also a backup for our Marketing Specialist, Events.
Manage all marketing led tradeshows including communication plan (pre-show, post show, internal and external communications), website updates, materials, contracts, budget, and post show metrics/reporting/analysis, speaking opportunities, etc.
Manage tradeshow budget including reporting actuals, coming up with solutions when needed to stay on budget, recommending shows and budget amount for upcoming year?s budget, and analyzing spend.
Recommend tradeshows for repeat attendance in following years, based on analysis of the previous year?s success. Seek out new tradeshows to attend based on our segment focus and company goals.
Evaluate, recommend, plan and execute presence at tradeshows; including promotions, and pre-show activities to increase booth traffic.
Investigate and recommend speaking opportunities at tradeshows and leverage PR opportunity through PR Specialist.
Ensure all booth properties are branded correctly, in good condition, and portray SciQuest in a professional, polished manner.
Communicate with all appropriate departments regarding event/tradeshow administration for each event/show, including procedures.
Create marketing tools for pre and post-event follow-up activities to ensure events are successful.
Track Sales-led tradeshow allotment budget and provide regular reporting to management.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and other internal departments to sustain strong business relationships to achieve goals.
Manage all details related to Regional User Group meetings (RUGs) for client services and training once contracts are in place: this includes all logistics and managing to the budget.
Assist in managing some details of NextLevel, including making decisions to move projects ahead based on criteria and solving any issues/problems that may arise related to those projects.
Maintain contact database and marketing metrics; including lead imports and ongoing attendee reporting.
Ability to multi-task while producing quality work on deadline
Ability to interact with all areas of the organization and collaborate with the marketing team
Highly motivated, requiring minimal direct supervision to complete assigned tasks
Ability to make decisions and move projects forward, based on criteria/budget/goal/guidelines communicated
Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM solution a plus
B.A. in Marketing or Associate Diploma with commensurate experience preferred
3 years direct event management experience, including budget and 3rd party vendor management
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Advanced MS Office skills
Proven organizational, project management, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal communication and written skills and strong project management abilities
