As a Marketing Specialist for Newegg Marketplace you will be directly responsible for facilitating online and offline marketing strategy and initiatives to support the goals of the merchandising and marketing groups. In this role, a successful candidate will be a communicator, problem-solver, and someone who is able to balance the needs and requirements of multiple facets of marketing related business. The candidate will develop skills and work across all functional areas to facilitate marketing related initiatives.
Collect and analyze campaign data, synthesizing results and identifying actionable opportunities and best practices to improve campaign performance
Ensure quality writing, editing, and proofing of promotional copy including but not limited to advertising, press releases, and related marketing materials
Produce weekly and month-end creative and campaigning performance reports, and additional ad hoc analyses as required via third-party analytics software (Coremetrics)
Coordinate with product groups, management and outside partners to develop and implement marketing initiatives
Process all internal & external requests for literature, presentations, print, promotional items and any other marketing related resources.
Support in the planning and execution of 2-3 trade shows per year
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing , Merchandising or equivalent experience
Excellent written & verbal, time management, and analytical skills
Must be versed in web/ecommerce and online media strategy, technologies and terminology
Experience in Affiliate Marketing, Google Adwords, Email Marketing is a plus
Retail and/or online shopping experience is preferred
Must have passion for Marketing and an understanding of consumer behavior.
Effective communicator at all levels
Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and time management

Very strong Excel and technical skills
Understanding of online marketing & metric tracking
