Position Summary
Be a part of FedBid?s team supporting our ever growing group of Sellers on the Marketplace: Market Operations. Marketplace Interns are the driving force behind marketplace competition, providing a variety of services that keep FedBid and its Sellers moving forward. As an Intern, you will have the chance to learn from a number of the departments that help make up our Market Operations team ? Market Specialists, Buyer Support, and Client Services. From delivering training and education, to conducting the market research that keeps the Marketplace alive, Marketplace Interns are the first faces of FedBid to our Sellers. Expert researchers and troubleshooters, Marketplace Interns are fearless in their pursuit of finding better ways to build greater competition?while ensuring excellence in Seller support from start to successful completion.
Responsibilities include:
Identifying and recruiting new Sellers to build maximize marketplace competitive results
Increasing Seller awareness of bid opportunities
Training Sellers on how to maximize their FedBid experience
Troubleshooting marketplace user difficulties via phone and email
Managing sensitive communication for customers
Serving as points of contact for Seller support
Obtaining and documenting Seller feedback
Ensuring all Seller questions and concerns are sent through proper channels
Reporting market research to ensure successful client results
Qualifications:
Strong Interpersonal skills with proven ability to work well within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic, initiative and self-motivation
Detail oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook)
