Summary:
SafeNet Assured Decisions is building a world-class product services team of technical professionals to support the planning, installation, deployment and integration of data protection products for securing data at rest or in transit; and to provide system upgrades and on-site support in classified or unclassified environments. Technical support is provided for MDeX, a Cross Domain Solution; StorageSecure for Network Attached Storage (NAS); KeySecure, an Enterprise Key Management (EKM) solution; ProtectV, data protection for the cloud; and application and transaction security using SafeNet?s Hardware Secure Modules (HSMs).
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field is desired or equivalent experience.
Experience:
The MDeX Engineer will offer 10 to 20 or more years experience that demonstrates increasing proficiency working with networking, storage, hardware and operating systems utilizing virtualization products. Operating systems will include Solaris, Linux and Windows environments. Networking would include sub-netting, routing and switching including virtual switching. A background in Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) is desired. Should have experience working with VMware vSphere and management with products such as vCenter Server. Experience working with protocols such as XMPP, SMTP, HTTP/S, JMS and FMV are desired. Working knowledge of Java, C++ and scripting is a plus.
Skills:
Ability to work effectively with customers and internal resources for planning, installation, deployment and integration
Excellent verbal and written skills
IT Security background a plus
Team player; ability to assume other roles when needed and also work independently
Self starter; requires little to no direction
Motivated; ability to learn new technologies even without formal instruction
Licensures / Certifications:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Oracle Certified Expert Oracle Solaris 10 Network Administrator, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), CompTIA Security+
Supervisory Responsibility:
Possible team leader responsibilities depending on project size and requirements
Scope of Responsibility:
As determined by the project size and requirements

Daily meetings with customer and project team.
Physical Demands:
Sitting in front of a computer on a daily basis
Working Conditions:
Assigned tasks are usually performed at the customer site on a daily basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expert for MDeX product
Assist SafeNet with CDS efforts for customers
Proficiency with other core products from the team
Installation and deployment of SafeNet products at customer locations
Operations and maintenance of SafeNet solutions at customer locations
Integration and development of SafeNet solutions to include other products at customer locations
Willingness to travel at least 50% locally or possibly internationally
