Responsibilities

• Detailed design and development of packaging, thermal management, and manufacturing technology for next-generation high-power EV motor drives.
• Collaborative work in engineering innovation across with mechanical, electrical, and thermal design disciplines.
• Validation of mechanical systems in dynamic and environmental conditions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated successful experience in mechanical engineering within a product design environment with two or more of the following manufacturing methods: injection molding, stamping, extrusions, die casting, sheet metal.
• Experience with product validation, FMEA analysis and test system architecture.
• Experience with medium or high volume product design for manufacturing.
• Detail oriented approach to testing with solid documentation and reporting skills.
• Minimum of 3 years mechanical engineering experience within a product design environment for medium to high volume manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling required, CATIA v5 experience highly preferred.
• Examples or portfolio of engineered products you've technically delivered.
• BSME considered, MSME preferred in Mechanical Engineering.
