We are looking for excellent Mechanical Design Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Engineering Analysts to join our team in full-time, long-term positions. We have multiple openings in the MidWest
Current Opening for a BSME with specialization in heavy equipment Hydraulic Systems design.
Duties:This candidate will be required to Lead the design efforts using Pro/Engineer Wildfire along with Client specific software packages. The candidate should be experienced with Hydraulics principles, hydraulics integration, heavy equipment or automotive.
The candidate will be expected to participate in pilot build of the new machines, directing work to our offshore team in Romania and overseeing the development activities required to support our customer.
Other skills that will be beneficial will be: previous project lead experience, Project management, estimating, quality assurance of our deliverables is a requirement.
Duties include:
Design mechanical and electro-mechanical products that meet customer project specifications using Pro/E software
Provide analytical assessment of technical engineering data including technical drawings to analyze and recommend best alternatives for product design
Identify and correct engineering design problems and make recommendations for corrections
Examine technical engineering design documents for accuracy and completeness and use that data to write product performance requirements and engineering design specification packets for production teams
Communicate in person, by phone, by email and other electronic means with engineering, technical and manufacturing personnel on technical product specifications and updates throughout the product development lifecycle
Analyze project proposal to determine feasibility, cost, and time-lines required to complete product development lifecycle
Ensure all project information and data is organized in order to make certain the project is on-track, on-budget and on-time
Qualifications:The successful candidate must have the following:
Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field
3+ years of experience providing engineering solutions on large, complex projects in any of the following areas: underground mining and drilling equipment. Other: off-road, heavy equipment; Engine install projects; Powertrain projects, or related fields
Experience with G.D. & T.
Experience with Routing
Expertise using ProE software modules
Expertise in the proper design, engineering and project production processes of the following: Heat transfer principles; Hydraulics principles; Principles of electro-mechanical systems design and engineering; Pneumatic systems principles; Metal properties and characteristics
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to converse on technical matters where there are differences of opinion in calm and collaborative way while being clear and concise
