About the Opportunity
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing engineering expertise in the areas of Manufacturing Equipment & Process Design, Manufacturing Process Improvement and Sustaining Manufacturing to assure the production of World Class products. Specific Roles and Responsibilities include the following:
Transferring new products from R&D to Production.
Developing new equipment and processes
Conducting validations, including writing protocols & reports
Developing and maintaining Production Metrics
Developing Manufacturing Routings, Manufacturing Instructions, Bill of Materials, and Equipment Operating Procedures.
BS degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
Two to five year?s experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment.
Prefer experience in Electrical-Mechanical Theory & Application, Process and Assembly Automation, 2D & 3D CAD, Hardware Design, Pneumatics, Instrumentation, PLC and Machine Programming, Basic Finance Theory, basic quality tools, advanced problem solving, excellent written skills.
