SourceMedical is currently seeking a Coding Assistant for its location in Fort Myers, Florida.
Summary of Position:
Coding Clerical Duties
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Daily sorting for all coders
2. Daily scanning and emailing cases to remote coders, payment posters.
3. Assist with the pulling of information for audits as needed .
4. Alaphabetize and file client files.
4. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Qualifications:
--High school graduate or GED certification
--Previous clerical experience preferred.
-- Cooperative work attitude toward and with co-employees, management, patients, outside contacts
--Ability to promote favorable company image with patients, insurance companies, and general public
--Ability to solve problems associated with assigned tasks.
