Newmarket International, the industry leader in hospitality software is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of MeetingMatrix Implementation Manager. Primary responsibilities include the measurement and creation of event space diagrams and conducting training for our room diagramming software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Travel to domestic and international job sites to create event space diagrams by accurately measuring the spaces to company standards and inputting the data into the software to produce diagram templates
Conduct onsite training classes of MeetingMatrix for 1 to 20+ users
Liaison with IT contacts to install software on servers and local machines for customer use
Initiate contact with customers prior to product implementation to answer questions
Upsell additional products and/or services while onsite
Capture photograph/multi-media data used in producing space rendered 3D models
Provide front line customer support during and after the implementation process
Complete capacity enhancements of room diagrams by insuring that facility inventory data is accurate and using sites existing capacity numbers as a guideline.
Produce floor plans and building outlines for venues by measuring, diagramming and drawing the meeting space/rooms.
Manage tasks and projects and maintain notes and keep the status of work in progress up to date in CRM
Education and Experience
Ability to travel 18-20+ days per month to domestic and international locations; valid passport a plus
Experience with Windows based operating systems
Experience using AutoCad a plus
Microsoft Office, including Outlook and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus
Ability to learn new programs and applications quickly
Must be highly self-motivated and have ability to work independently
Strong Communication skills
Must be able to lift 100lbs
Hospitality industry experience a plus
