Specific Duties/Responsibilities
-Educates members on Care.com products, services and policies.
-Provides timely resolution and follow up to member issues.
-Resolves issues according to Care.com policies.
-Quickly and efficiently escalates non-routine issues per defined escalations policies.
-Enters detailed information in the company call-tracking system for every issue handled.
-Takes on special projects.
Skills/Experience Requirements
-Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Customer Service Rep
-Excellent customer service skills.
-Excellent computer skills.
-Written communication - the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, and as needed, presents numerical data.
-Interpersonal skills - the individual speaks clearly and confidently, and with empathy and understanding of the members' situation, whether positive or negative.
-Adaptability - the individual adapts to changes in the work environment or schedule.
-Dependability - the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and feedback to improve performance.
-Problem solving - the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and maintains confidentiality.
-Must be positive, goal oriented and able to work well independently as well as on a team.
-Must be personable and have a sense of humor.
Education/Other Pre-requisites
-BA/BS or equivalent work experience
