Duties:Work with the systems, ASIC and Product Management teams to architect, design and implement Ethernet and IP forwarding software, Layer 3 routing protocols, IPv6 and server load balancing for SeaMicro's next generation Data Center appliances.
Responsibilities include architecture, design and implementation of packet forwarding and control software for networking devices.
Implement and sustain modules that manage networking functionality and system functions in these devices.
The system functions include normal system operations, field system maintenance, fault detection, reporting and recovery, and system configuration and logic changes and upgrades.
Create sufficient technical document including technical specifications, theory of operations and recommendations for test methodology.
Minimum Requirements:
Master?s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or as software engineer, technical consultant, or programmer analyst required.
