Member of Technical Staff - Web-server side Fortify Software

Responsibilities

Build server/web application to manage and administer Fortify's Security as a Service platform
Work with customer support, technical operations and product management to spec, design, develop and debug new functionality for customer facing and backend system
Assist Fortify Technical Operations in debugging and troubleshooting the production environment
Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to develop innovative solutions and achieve objectives

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of software development experience
Deep understanding of J2EE technology
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Experience with SQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and data modeling
Good understanding of Application Server platforms like JBoss
Experience deploying applications on Linux
Good understanding of open source technologies such as Spring and Hibernate
