Job Responsibilities
Front desk and reception responsibilities.
Effectively handle inbound member calls and resolve complaints of minor complexity.
Successfully make outbound calls to members to provide additional follow-up as needed.
Demonstrate sense of urgency to resolve or escalate member situations as appropriate.
Assist new members with Zipcar procedures, applications, and Zipcard activation process.
Partner with Corporate Member Services, Fleet Operations, Sales, Marketing and other departments.
Support office administration duties, such as ordering supplies, etc.
Maintain detailed understanding of Zipcar SOP and apply to open/pending issues.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a customer service role.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer skills.
Problem solving?the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.
Interpersonal skills?the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
Soft skills?the individual is able to use a positive and friendly attitude to empathize with a member?s concern and work toward resolution.
Oral communication?the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.
Written communication?the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.
Adaptability?the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands by prioritizing accordingly, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Dependability?the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
College degree preferred.
