Responsibilities
- Design and Maintain build ,release and configuration management system
- Design and enforce policies for managing source code, including branching, merging and tagging policies to support parallel development
- Provide continuous support on builds and strive to make the build and release process as close to automated as possible
- Monitor and administer the automated build and continuous integration process to ensure correct build execution, and facilitate resolution of build failures
- Develop and maintain documentation of the build/release process
- Investigate tools that might speed up the process or make us more efficient in build and release management
Requirements
- Experience in designing, building and maintaining an automated build and release environment using Shell/Perl or other scripting language
- Expertize on Maven or ANT scripting
- Experience with Branching and Merging Strategies
- Experience in working with Linux environments
- Source code management using Perforce or other CM Tools
- Experience in builds developed in Java, ANT,Maven and other technologies
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills along with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Detail oriented, organized, thorough and respect for quality control
Experience : 7 -10yrs
