Member Technical Staff QA Kabira Technologies

We are looking for a quality assurance professional or upstream geologist/geophysicist to work with our Quality Assurance team to test the suite of TIBCO OpenSpirit software products and provide perspective on future products.

The individual will work directly with senior technical staff members to identify software issues and communicate them clearly to development. He or she will execute documented workflows while identifing new scenarios to provide end-user perspective on enhancements to future products.

Required:

• 3+ years of software testing experience or 3+ years of geotechnical experience in upstream oil and gas.
• Ability to present facts and technical workflows effectively in oral and written form (examples will be required).
• Ability to thrive in a team oriented environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Geology/Geophysics

Strongly Desired:

• Experience with TIBCO OpenSpirit products.
• Expertise with geotechnical software including GeoFrame, OpenWorks, TheKingomSuite, Petra, Recall, PPDM, Finder, SDE, Petrel, NeuraDB, ArcMap
• Experience with VM Ware, Oracle and SQL Server database systems, and Linux, Solaris and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with data management software such as ProSource, Decision Space, Decision Point, or Petris Winds.
• Experience creating and running automated tests with unix shell scripts, windows bat files, sqlplus commands, or TestComplete automated testing.
