Successful candidates will drive the architectural evaluation of emerging and next generation memory technologies, including DDR3 and DDR4, LPDDR3 and LPDDR4, serial memory, wide I/O memory, as well as stacked memory configurations such as 3DS. In addition, will develop, analyze, and propose memory system architectures to support application requirements specified by customers.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Explore architecture and engineering trade-offs in system performance, power, and infrastructure compatibility
Analyze and develop memory hierarchies for high performance computing (HPC) architectures
Develop functional and performance simulators and models
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
MS or PhD in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science
5+ years of architecture research and/or development of high speed memory system architectures, performance analysis, tools, or simulators
Experience in High-Performance Computing (HPC), Memory Hierarchies, System Architecture, and C/C++ development
