Merchant Account Sales Manager MindBody Software
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED This position involves the management and supervision of all merchant account processing sales representatives to achieve strategic corporate MAP sales initiatives that support the overall performance objectives for the MAP Sales team at MINDBODY. Data collection and analysis of reports is required on a regular basis.
Screen, interview, and hire new MAP Sales Specialists.
Develop and maintain a robust MAP Sales Training process that is approved by the Director of Merchant Accounts (DMA), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO).
Utilize Salesforce to maintain a highly effective sales funnel and provide robust reporting.
Train MAP Sales Specialists in standard sales process.
Mentor and coach Merchant Account Sales Specialists to maximize each individual potential and incorporate top notch sales strategies.
Set performance expectations for each individual MAP Sales Specialist and team in coordination with DMA, CFO and CSMO.
Develop and Maintain Positive Relationships with MINDBODYs management team to ensure positive and continued cross departmental communication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
2 Years Management experience.
3 Years Sales Experience.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience in sales and staff management.
3-5 years experience in technology sales preferably in the Software-as-a-Service market place. (Experience with Merchant Account Sales preferred but not required.)
Excellent Communication & Presentation Skill and ability to communicate at the executive level.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher) to support internal documentation, and creation of sales presentation material to aid the presales phase.
Understanding of Database Management Systems, Data Structures, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Demonstrated career stability and overachievement in previous job posts.
GENERAL DUTIES AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the DMA and CFO on setting individual goals for MAP Sales Specialists.
Conduct performance reviews, weekly team meetings and regular one-on-one meetings with MAP Sales Specialists.
Work with other mid-level management to maintain constant communications between departments.
Inspire MAP Sales Specialists to achieve strategic corporate MAP sales initiatives that support the overall performance objectives for the MAP Sales team at MINDBODY.
Coordinate the management and distribution of leads.
Conduct first round of interviews via a phone screen to validate if the candidate is eligible for an interview with DMA.
Conduct second round interviews with the DMA and be an integral part of the decision making process on hiring.
Educate MAP Sales Specialists on the sales process from fact finding to solution selling and asking for the sale.
MINIMUM ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Intimate working knowledge of lead generation, prospecting and sales processes.
Strong track record of personal sales performance.
Leadership abilities--to inspire, educate and inform reps continuously.
Outstanding communication skills.
Ability to function in a high stress environment, under substantial pressure to meet sales goals as set by DMA or the executive team.
Sophisticated business sense and deal-making abilities.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY:
As the Merchant Account Sales Manager you will be the first level of management for the Merchant Account Sales Specialist Team. You are responsible for mentoring and motivating this level of staff while enforcing MINDBODY employment policies.
