Position Description
The Marketplace Merchant Support Specialist is focused primarily on the Merchant and Customer experience on Newegg Marketplace. This person would play a central role between the Marketplace Sellers, Product Management, and the customers. General task could involve customer service, dispute resolution between Merchant and customers, merchant item creation data feeds, and seller portal functionality. The MMS will play a key role in developing the processes and procedures to support the growing Merchant and Customer support services. The MMS will also be in charge of establishing and managing a platform to service the seller community, similarly to Eggxpert.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Marketplace CM?s to manage and execute all seller operational issues or concerns
Acts as liaison between Marketplace, Customer Service and Fraud Prevention
Works with Sellers to manage, create, troubleshoot data feeds for item creation, inventory update, via our seller portal, FTP or web services
Assist in content auditing pre and post item creation
Troubleshoot any Seller issues in Seller Portal
Assist in production of catalog output for newly created and updated categories

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in related fields
2-5 years in supporting Marketplace seller environment or customer service
Basic understanding of ecommerce and customer service
Working knowledge of data feed integration a plus
Working knowledge of website category taxonomy a plus
Strong understanding of Office applications
Abilities Required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to balance heavy workload effectively
Detail-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude who is deadline and results oriented
Team player adept at working in cross functional environment
