Job Summary
To provide outstanding guidance and project management with the transition of live Merck events in to ON24 webcasts including developing projects plans and best practices for transition events, developing professional relationships within Merck and ensuring successful delivery of all events transitioned.
Job Responsibilities
40 hours a week onsite position at a Merck facility throughout 2013
Create and manage a project plan that outlines the strategy and implementation for the transitioning events
Oversee individual event transitions
Educate Merck personnel on standard ON24 webcasting platforms
Oversee the creation of best practices documents for running live and on-demand webcasts as well as best practices for transition live events to web based events
Lead the Merck events team in the transition
Work closely with the ON24 Merck Account Management and Delivery teams to ensure successful event delivery
Develop and track metric to measure program and individual event success
Essential Experience
At least 5 years of account/project management experience in a high tech environment
At least 3 years of people management experience, managing teams of 5 or more
A bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Essential Skills
Outstanding customer service and project management skills
Proven client communication skills
Professional experience with streaming media
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Professional experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational, planning and presentation skills
Preferred Skills
Experience within audio and video production or related field
Working knowledge of audio/video streaming and codecs
