Responsibilities:
The M&A Associate is a high-impact business role, so we are looking for someone smart and passionate with strong networking, analysis and research skills.
The M&A Associate?s primary responsibilities will be:
Sourcing and researching investment and acquisition opportunities
Creating deal flow through networking and actively participating in venture / startup related events
Managing and screening deal flow
Conducting initial due diligence
Modeling finances
Researching markets and competition
Drafting investment memoranda
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree required. MBA or other graduate degree is a big plus.
3-7 years? experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, management consulting, or a broad-based role at a technology company or startup.
Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics
Strong financial modeling skills
Proactive style with discipline for setting priorities, driving decisions, and getting closure on recommendations and issues.
Strong relationship management skills
Knowledge and experience in software-as-a-service (SaaS) is a strong plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
