Suniva is seeking a MES Engineer for our state-of-the-art facility at our Atlanta, GA location.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for entire operation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) a mission critical 24X7 production system . Play a role as a MES system lead at the plant site.
Work with MES system integrators for all the future upgrades, enhancements and change control
Create and maintains documentation for operation and upgrades and work with end users for troubleshooting
Interact with business partners and clients, at the plant site, regarding business and technology
requirements, to provide the best solution for implementation
Assist with the, specification, design, development, installation, configuration, test, and integration of solutions
Responsible for production support and maintenance of solutions, when necessary off hour/weekend handling of support issues may be required
Reports Directly to Director of Information Systems
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
5+ years experience with Plant Floor Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) & Statistical Process Control (SPC) application
Bachelors degree in computer science with MES and SPC application experience
Background in discrete/process manufacturing business processes and the practical application of MES and quality functions/systems
Ability to prioritize tasks, focus on critical path elements, lead team of users and developers to achieve end goal
Proven analytical/problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to dig into problems at detail level and reconcile system anomalies/problems with supporting data.
3+ Experience in developing MES reports/KPI?s using various reporting tools like MS-Access, Crystal Reports, Oracle reports.
Team player - able to originate and exchange ideas for potential solutions, participate in final approach determination, and follow through consistent with team decisions.
Experience implementing User Requirements through ongoing continuous improvement of the MES
Systems applications suite and departmental business processes
Ability to communicate effectively with employees at different levels of the organization
Ability to learn the manufacturing process and to develop workflows
Oracle ERP experience preferred
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with semi conductors, electronics manufacturing, energy based companies is a plus
Experience with regulatory/compliance documentation and procedures is a plus
Experience with the compliance of the systems and batch record and data integrity
Ability to learn configuration of wireless devices
