PaySimple is seeking a superstar Acquisition marketer (a mathlete and spreadsheet geek) to grow the companys customer base. In this position, youll own PaySimples acquisition marketing programs from developing the overall strategy and executing day-to-day tactics to building indepth reports that clearly map our ROI . To succeed, youll need to be an uber-expert in SEM and SEO, including affiliate, display and social media ad platforms. The role requires strong leadership in testing new channels and constantly pushing the envelope with an assiduous focus on testing and performance. Although PaySimples product is technically B2B, many PaySimple customers investigate and choose solutions like consumers, so we would love for this person to have a feel for both Bs and Cs.
Own the strategic development and day-to-day management of PaySimples paid search (PPC) program, including existing campaign optimization, new keyword/ad generation, ad copy writing and testing, bid management, landing page optimization, and overall campaign budget management
Manage company SEO initiatives, including site optimization and campaign management responsibilities
Build and manage additional successful online lead generation programs, with proven ability to track results and demonstrate ROI
Own the demand funnel from the moment of engagement with the PaySimple brand to onboarding
Test, test, test and test more on all advertising programs and funnel initiatives
Serve as the primary subject matter expert and point of contact for all acquisition initiatives with internal teams and external partners
Collect and analyze program performance data, finding optimization points and actionable testing opportunities for campaign improvement and efficiency in reducing cost per acquisition and increasing overall program ROI
Generate and distribute acquisition program reporting to ensure management and the broader organization is aware of current campaign performance and trends
Collaborate with broader Marketing team to help develop the PaySimple marketing voice/message and brand identity so as to drive improvement in customer acquisition conversion
Experience and Skills:
4-5 years of Online Marketing experience, with proven success managing direct, demand-oriented SEM/SEO initiatives
Highly proficient in Search Engine Marketing campaign management, including Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, display and retargeting strategy, Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn ad networks, and affiliate ad management expertise
Solid experience/understanding of analytics platforms and CRMs (Salesforce experience a huge plus), including familiarity with pulling data from these various sources to create one cohesive report
Excellent data analysis skills (proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel required), with the ability to draw conclusions and communicate results to management
Strong written and verbal communication skills a must
Project management skills are critical, including adaptability, time management and prioritization to meet objectives
Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment, with proven creative-problem solving abilities
