The Freescale Intern Program is a 3 month summer experience that will provide you with an opportunity to gain knowledge about Freescale?s products, business and culture. You will have the opportunity to meet with organizational leaders during lunch, work side by side with your fellow intern colleges, network at social events, and present your work to Freescale executives.
Employment begins in June 2014 and completes in August 2014.
We are looking for summer interns to be part of our engineering team designing, developing and testing leading embedded micro-controller solutions.
Candidates will be part of the IO/Analog Tem Team for the Microcontrollers Division of Freescale:
Work in a mixed signal design group developing electrical fast transient detection and response circuits and a comprehensive test and validation plan for evaluating them. This task will require coordination with experts across the company and external university research programs. This task will also include design and analysis of traditional analog circuits, including power networks and clock networks.
Students must be currently enrolled in an MS or Phd.D program pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent degree.
Coursework and research (or previous internship) focus on electrical fast transient modeling and immunity is preferred. Basic analog coursework including amplifier design and VLSI design is a benefit.
