Microsoft Business Intelligence/SQL Server Developer LegalZoom

The BI developer will be responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of the LegalZoom data warehouse.

This role will develop data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence tools and underlying technologies.

CS degree

Required Skills:

Must have strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 including.
5+ years of experience in T-SQL Programming
4+ years of experience in SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
3+ years of experience in gathering requirements and preparing specifications
8+ years of experience in entire Software development process.
Data modeling expertise in an enterprise data-warehousing environment.
Strong experience building extract, transformation, and load processes to convert operational transactional data into dimensions and fact tables.
Experienced in developing Business Intelligence solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Microsoft SSRS, SSAS, and MDX in a data warehousing environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience developing and running MDX queries
Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
Advanced knowledge of OLAP/MOLAP technologies and dimensional modeling, including applicability to various reporting problems.
Experience in integrating Reports with Sharepoint

Duties:

Work with project lead and business users to gather requirements, conduct analysis and prepare specifications
Translate project requirements into functional and non-functional specifications for BI reports and applications.
Contribute to and support the organizations Business Intelligence strategy
Development and implementation of tactical and strategic data warehousing solutions including corporate Data Warehouse.
Develop, implement and maintain test strategies and plans
Design and implement multi-dimensional models, including the construction of Data View, Dimensions, and Cubes while adhering to enforced development methodologies.
Design and implement reporting applications including (but not limited to) BI dashboards, reporting cubes and static reports.
Convert existing reporting tools to a standardized reporting infrastructure using SQL and Microsoft products.
Design and implement required interfaces for the data warehouse including to BI tools and other applications used by the business
Design and implement the data loading (ETL) and publishing processes within the DW/BI environment
