As a SQL Server Professional Services Consultant at Ntirety, you will be part of a team of Database Administrators and Consultants remotely supporting multiple SQL Server projects for our clients' systems all over the world. You will be working with our clients on database projects including administration, performance tuning, environment assessments and right-sizing, BI/DW related work and more. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL issues that arise while working concurrently with multiple priorities.For this postion, working out of the Ntirety Dedham, Massachusettes office is perferred but not required
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
Minimum of 6+ years of related experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Process oriented engineer with strong execution and follow through skills, with a strong focus on customer service
Experience supporting SQL Server in a production environment, including backup and recovery, corruption handling, high availability (mirroring, log shipping), replication, etc.
BI skills preferred, including ETL and DW design
SSIS package design and troubleshooting
SSRS design and optimization
Strong performance tuning skills preferred, including index analysis and TSQL tuning
Strong written and oral communication skills a must
Team player with ability to multitask with minimal supervision and high reliability.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Desired:
SQL Server 2012 a plus
Microsoft Certifications a plus
Willingness to occassionally travel
Willingness to schedule and work off hours maintenance windows to implement remediation items
