FieldView Solutions, Inc., is looking for a Mid-level .Net Developer to join our high growth, venture backed software startup in its Edison, NJ Corporate Headquarters. FieldView's software provides facilities managers and IT personnel that handle data centers with real time branch circuit and environmental monitoring, circuit alarm notification, and cabinet asset management for small and large data centers. The offering enables better infrastructure capacity and efficiency metrics for a single facility or across a global portfolio.
The .Net Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining the FieldView application. You must be comfortable taking complex existing systems and quickly develop the expertise to maintain and enhance them as well as developing new products from the concept phase onward. You must be comfortable working as part of a team but often work on independent projects, be able to follow software development processes and prepare detailed product documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
--Design and build product deliverables according to specifications, ensuring that they align with business objectives, fulfill customer requirements, and follow industry development standards
--Diagnose and resolve performance issues and bugs
--Escalate technical design or specification issues
--Create technical and end-user documentation
Job Requirements:
--Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related area
--3-5 years of experience in ASP.Net and C#
--Work experience with SQL Server 2008, JQUERY programming, Web service development and Subversion
--Experience with SSIS and SSRS a plus
--Strong planning and time management skills and practices
--Well developed oral and written communication skills
--Ability to communicate technical concepts
