Plateau is seeking a Senior Manager, Account Development. The Senior Manager of Account Development is responsible for account development strategy and execution, managing the account development team, and for working closely with marketing to execute programs that contribute leads to the sales pipeline that ultimately result in closed bookings.
Job Duties include:
o Manage team of Account Development Representatives (ADRs). Duties include establishing key metrics, measuring them over time, and coaching team members. Team has a specific quota for generating opportunities for sales. The team is also responsible for maintenance and subscription renewals, which has a specific quota.
o ADR team is responsible for maintenance and subscription renewals with existing customers. Duties will include managing team and process to complete renewals on time.
o Provide mentorship and coaching of the ADR team to improve their effectiveness, and regularly report team progress to management.
o Understand pivotal role of Demand Generation (including Account Development) as an integral alignment point between Sales & Marketing and demonstrate an ability to work closely with sales and marketing to develop and execute on demand generation activities.
o Analyze performance and make marketing investment decisions based on ROI on activities compared with internal benchmark data and industry benchmark data; includes determining where to invest and divest in geographies, markets, or segments
o Effectively manage fiscal responsibility for forecasting, planning and budgeting for broad strategic initiatives as well as defined tactical plans
Required Qualifications:
o 7+ years of account development or inside sales management experience.
o Strong analysis and process skills to document, measure, and refine the account development processes, establishing and tracking key metrics. Strong organizational leadership abilities.
o Strong communication skills and experience working closely with sales is required
o Ability to multi-task and flexibly adapt in a fast-paced work environment
o Bachelors degree required, and MBA is highly desirable.
