NetSpend Direct is an entrepreneurial business unit within NetSpend, with responsibility for growing the company?s online and direct-to-consumer business line including all facets of customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and servicing customers through web and mobile platforms.
This position is based in San Mateo, CA and there will be occasional travel to NetSpend?s headquarters in Austin, Texas. The company offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including group medical, dental, vision care, and a 4% company match on 401K contributions.
NetSpend is growing quickly and investing in its online and direct business. We?re looking to build a world class team of to contribute to building the business. As a key contributor within NetSpend?s Direct team, you?ll be able to define new customer acquisition growth strategies that continue NetSpend Direct?s impressive growth.
This position is responsible for acquiring new cardholders through direct-to-consumer mobile advertising for NetSpend and other prepaid debit card brands.
You will source new mobile lead generation partners, negotiate pricing, test new creatives, manage partner onboarding, and execute contracts/IOs.
Manage existing marketing partnerships, identify new publisher sources for testing, and manage performance to meet ROI goals. Create and implement test strategies across card brands to optimize sources. Conduct performance review meetings with mobile partner accounts.
Communicate and manage weekly and monthly account forecasts and budgets by card brand
Track performance against Plan, and provide month-end report to Partner for billing reconciliation.
Ensure creative adherence by external marketing partners.
Work with internal and external creative resources to develop new mobile banner, text copy and mobile landing page creative. Manage creative development, message and offer testing strategy with a goal to maximize click through and conversion rates.
Work closely with cross-functional team partners in Creative, Operations, Customer Service and Data Analytics teams to implement initiatives and track performance.
Partner with Online Acquisition team and Lifecycle Marketing team to share learnings, leverage creative best practices, optimize early lifecycle conversion experience to drive customer engagement.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum 5-7 years B2C marketing experience in technology, software, financial services or information services industry. Experience with mobile advertising or online lead generation required. Account management experience preferred.
You should have a passion for all-things-mobile and be in tune with emerging mobile marketing strategies.
Multi-channel B2C marketing and experience preferred including creative development, test design and analysis
Data driven, analytical and comfortable working in a data intensive environment.
Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects. Thrives in a fast-moving, changing environment with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated, outgoing, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Has a can-do attitude.
Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Adept at building strong relationships with external marketing partners.
Bachelors Degree, preferably in marketing or communication
