Mobile Application Developer, Manager Xora

Job Description:

You and your team will design and develop Xoras market leading cross-platform mobile applications. Your mission will be to build and manage a world class team and to create Xoras next generation of high-value, easy to use mobile applications.
Responsibilities:

Build and manage a world class team of mobile application developers
Help define and drive Xoras cross-platform mobile application technology strategy
Work with product managers, UI designers and your team to create a compelling application and great user experience

Qualifications and Skills Required:

BSCS/MSCS or equivalent
8+ years software development experience with recent emphasis on mobile applications
3+ years engineering management experience
Demonstrated ability to build strong, highly productive engineering teams
Technical and people leadership skills
Deep knowledge and experience with one or more mobile smart phone and feature phone platforms (Android, iOS, JME, Windows Mobile, Brew, etc) and an understanding of cross-platform development issues
Experience with client side web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, Ajax, etc)
A passion backed by knowledge and understanding of what it takes to create a compelling yet simple user experience
Knowledge of GPS, geospatial processing and location based services is a plus
Experience developing enterprise-class applications and knowledge of SaaS applications and technologies is a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to think big picture, manage pragmatically and execute with an attention to details
