Mobile communication system engineer Quintic

The successful
candidate is
expected to
perform the
following job duties:
Active participation in algorithm design and implementation of physical layer of a multi-standard broadband wireless communication system
System simulations, performance evaluation and optimization
Fixed-point design, implementation, and bit-exact verification of physical layer functional blocks
Extensive collaboration with hardware and software teams
Active participation in the lab and field testing and debugging
Building and optimizing physical layer simulator using MATLAB and C/C++

Required
knowledge and
skills:
>>Strong background in digital communication theory and digital signal processing.

>>Good understanding of OFDM theory and application. Familiar with signal acquisition, parameter estimation, synchronization, modulation/demodulation, coding/decoding of OFDM systems. Implementation experience of OFDM systems is a plus.

>>Strong coding and simulation skills with MATLAB and C/C++.

>>Ability of multitasking and priority setting, good organizing skills

>>Good knowledge in IC manufacture, assembly and testing

>>Familiar with logistic flows and practice

>>Good at financial challenges
Education
/Experience:Master's degree or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
