Mobile Marketing Manager Xoom

We?re looking for a mobile marketing manager to help us spread the word about how Xoom is the easiest and most convenient way to send money internationally to friends. Come on board our growing team of top-notch team of professionals, working out of our San Francisco office. This position reports to the Director of Online Marketing.
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Develop and manage mobile marketing strategies including: advertising, mobile marketing and digital partnerships.
Collaborate with Director of Online Marketing, other Marketing staff and Product team to forecast and plan and budget mobile new customers; define goals and objectives utilizing all media channels: mobile advertising, SMS, referral, display, search, affiliate, email and social media.
Identify and negotiate with external media, marketing and technology vendors to help Xoom a build world-class mobile marketing and measurement platform.
Define and develop retention targets, conversion rates and conversion tracking models for mobile.
Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to market the Xoom mobile money sending platform to new and existing customers.
Present performance reports to cross functional teams regularly and to Executive staff monthly.
Partner with internal and external teams to provide marketing input for creative, product, production, legal, IT and other technological input for mobile product initiatives.
Be abreast of mobile marketing trends. Develop ways to attract customers through review of these trends, the competition and current and prospective mobile marketing channels.
Partner with regional marketing territory directors to develop integrated programs that support customer acquisition, revenue generation and brand building initiatives for each Xoom corridor.
Deliver on monthly and quarterly traffic, sales and efficiency targets.
Skill /Education requirements:
Minimum 5-7+ years experience: marketing analytics, account management, media buyer within mobile marketing field?financial services business experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of the mobile marketing ecosystem and infrastructure, from carriers to aggregators to agencies to customers. Strong understanding of the handset technology limitations and their impact on messaging and customer experience.
Exposure to mobile content and mobile value added services, subscription based service model knowledge, and working knowledge of digital vendors and mobile marketing channels.
Proficiency with web analytics and online tracking/reporting systems. Proven analytical skills and quantitative mindset.
Good general knowledge of developing mobile marketing applications.
Must be comfortable with public speaking in managerial, large and small group settings inside and outside of the company.
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to present recommendations and plans to senior management.
Excellent interpersonal/relationship management skills.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Spanish speaking not a requirement but a plus.
BA in Marketing, communications, management, economics, mathematics or liberal studies with a business or project management emphasis.
