mPortal is seeking a Mobile Product Manager to manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation to execution and iteration, for one or more mobile products. The Product Manager will work with various organizations at mPortal including development, design, operations, sales, marketing, to deliver on industry leading, next generation mobile applications and platforms. The right candidate will possess the business and technical acumen to be able to analyze, drive and bring products to market.Primary Responsibilities:
The Product Manager is responsible for defining, planning, driving and managing the execution of the vision for existing and future products.
Collaborate with engineering, marketing and management on product development during the discovery phase to assess value, usability and feasibility of product features.
Prioritize and create detailed product requirements including flows and use cases.
Work with the design and creative team on user-experience (UX) deliverables such as prototypes, wireframes and design documents.
Utilize Agile methodologies to develop and manage product plans and timelines.
Serve as a point of contact, champion and product resource with all internal and external facing groups.
Maintain and refine a long-term product development roadmap and conduct regular goal setting measures and update the management team regularly on performance.
Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has acquired a Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (advanced degree a plus), and significant demonstrated project management experience in previous mobile project management roles. Key expectations include:
BS degree and a minimum of 3 years in product management experience, preferably with mobile, media, or social products.
Strong understanding of and highly conversant in the mobile industry, including familiarity with mobile design and development best practices.
Ability to iterate and execute quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong product, design, technical and analytical sensibilities.
Direct product experiences with iOS and Andriod is a plus.
