Mobile QA / Developer Support Kongregate
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Kongregate, a mobile & web games publisher, is looking for a Developer Support and QA Engineer to join our small and nimble mobile development team.
The principal service that the mobile team is responsible for is the cross-platform Kongregate SDK. The SDK supports components such as gaming features, deep game analytics, Kongregate platform features, and conversion testing to name a few.
Your role will be to ensure the quality of our evolving SDK, to aide developers' integration questions, and respond to developer issues. This role is open to evolve into other positions down the road such as developer, SDK evangelist, or integrations engineer.
Be the front-line support for third party game developers who are integrating our SDK or new features within it
Communicate changes via Release Notes, documentation site, and forums
Ensure the SDK meets feature requirements, quality standards, and compatibility across games, platforms, and devices
Review existing and upcoming SDK features to form test plans and regression test cases
Identify efficiency opportunities in processes, standards, and procedures in test automation and functional testing
Attempt to reproduce any reported issues and document steps
Experience in customer support, quality assurance or related field
Responsive, personable, and a good temperament when working with external teams
Ability to learn quickly and comfortable in a fast paced environment
Passionate about quality and software testing
Analytical mind set and ability to understand, explain and document detailed process flows
Nice to have:
Experience working with remote teams
SDK QA Experience
Android/iOS Mobile QA experience
Basic scripting/programming knowledge
This position is for either of our San Francisco, CA or Portland, OR offices.
