As a product manager within Cloudmark, you are the ultimate owner of the customer experience for your products and services, as well as the person responsible for driving future development, field education, market positioning, and customer adoption. Responsibilities
Lead definition of new mobile messaging and data security products and services; coordinate with field team and customers to validate solution direction and functionality.
Develop of detailed MRD/PRD documents that balance customer and market needs.
Participate in various mobile industry conferences and provide input to Open Mobile Alliance (OMA), Open Handset Alliance (OHA), Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) and Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) initiatives sponsored by or important to Cloudmark.
Continually conduct competitive analysis and research emerging threats for inspiration regarding new products and services.
Work closely with field pre-sales and engineering teams to deliver coherent solutions that provide strong customer benefits and can easily be integrated into existing infrastructure.
Create field tools and collateral to continuously improve customer sales process and trial conversion.
Act as the subject matter expect for Cloudmark technical field team.
Work with mobile infrastructure partners on joint marketing and sales training.
Serve as evangelist through presentations to internal, customer, and industry-facing audiences, espousing the Cloudmark solution benefits and value proposition.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
In-depth mobile messaging and/or mobile infrastructure security domain expertise
2+ years experience with mobile infrastructure and interconnectivity technology, including SS7, SIGTRAN, SMPP, SIP, GPRS, WCDMA, HSPA, LTE, SMSC, MMSC, VLR, HLR, EIR, and HSS.
2+ years experience with mobile messaging related technologies such as SMS, MMS, SIP, RCS-e, and LDAP.
Knowledge of mobile OS SDK?s from Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows Phone, and Symbian.
3+ years PM experience, history with mobile messaging and/or security offerings
2+ years experience with mobile or security software development and test processes
Familiarity with process implementation and improvement
Ability to generate compelling field and customer facing product content
Strong customer and event presentation skills
Knowledge/experience in C, Perl, Ruby, or Python programming is a plus
Advanced user level -nix skills, especially Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Ubuntu
Valid U.S. passport and ability to travel to worldwide destinations (up to 25% time)
Education
University degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience
Bachelor?s degree required, master?s degree/MBA preferred
