Who We Want:
The rise of the mobile internet has changed the way that we go about our daily lives. We can get a restaurant suggestion, get walking or driving directions, check-in when we get there, and update our status with pictures of our friends and our food, right from our phones. The mobile internet is also changing the way that we pick products to buy, services to use, restaurants to eat at, and so on.
Today, we want to be armed with as much information as possible before making any kind of purchasing decision. At home, we'll search the web, read reviews, watch product demos on YouTube, and then scour the web for the best price. But what about when we're out and about?
Consider this scenario: on your way to work you blow out a tire, luckily right in front of a tire dealer. You walk in and are greeted by a wall of 30 different tires by 8 different brands. You're not a tire expert, so you don't know the difference between the cheaper model from brand A and the more expensive model from brand B, and you aren't sure the salesperson has your best interests in mind when he recommends the more expensive one.
You want to hear from other real people who have bought those tires, preferably from people who drive your same model of car and live in a comparable climate. What if you could just take out your phone, scan the barcode for each of the tires and instantly get access to dozens of user reviews for each tire? What if you could check-in at the store and read reviews about the quality of the sales staff and learn about the specials they're running today? The knowledge that the cheaper tire wasn't great in the rain and the sales staff had excellent reviews would help you make a better decision.
At Bazaarvoice, we are at the forefront of social commerce, serving over 5 billion page views per month on hundreds of millions of pieces of user generated content. Mobile is a natural and inevitable extension of social, and we are looking for an exceptional software engineer for mobile applications to join our already outstanding engineering team. In this role, you'll build the next generation of great social/mobile commerce applications.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
Be an achiever, have a demonstrated track record of designing and implementing iOS or Android applications, preferably in the social space.
Be a magnet, help us attract and hire more great mobile developers.
