Mobile Web and Application Development EngineerThe Opportunity
We see this as an exciting opportunity to work with our global software development team as a Mobile Web and Application Development Engineer working on our world-class enterprise software. The ideal candidate will have skills in mobile architecture, mobile application development, mobile testing, device configuration, mobile middleware, and wireless technologies.
Responsibilities
Mobile application development, architecture design, infrastructure design, technology build and deployment activities on multiple platforms
Assisting in refining and enhancing mobile architectures and frameworks
Driving mobile technology build, test and deployment activities
Design and code the Company?s software applications and Web sites using C#, ASP.Net 4.0, T-SQL, SQL Server 2008, WCF, AJAX, JQuery and JavaScript
Design and implement multi-tiered enterprise applications
Produce scalable, robust, high-quality code
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting mobile application development
Reviewing and supervising mobile design components
Mobile application development, architecture design, infrastructure design, technology build and deployment activities on multiple platforms
Assisting in refining and enhancing mobile architectures and frameworks
Driving mobile technology build, test and deployment activities
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting mobile application development
Reviewing and supervising mobile design components
Work independently with minimal supervision and provide leadership and mentoring to associate software engineers
Communicate technical issues or project details to Team Manager and Technical team
Basic Qualifications
Experience using the following technologies: CSS Mobile, JQuery Mobile, HTML5, iPhone SDK
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering related field
2 ? 5 years of web-based application experience on Microsoft platform
Ability to communicate technical issues or project details with Software Development Manager
Strong problem solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proven understanding of the SDLC
Master?s Degree in Computer Science preferred
Preferred Skills
Experience with Blackberry SDK, Android
Experience with Device Testing - Application, Network, Performance
Driving mobile technology architecture and infrastructure design activities
Previous consulting or client service delivery experience
Experience with SaaS (Software-as-a-Service)
Experience with Microsoft Team System/Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Experience with MSMQ
