Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with extensive experience in mobile application development. This position will be a key member of our development staff with the opportunity to work on our mobile applications and consumer facing website and with over 100 million users. This is a senior level position and the candidate must have an in-depth understanding of internet technologies and mobile platforms. The candidate must also have effective communication skills and be able to work in a rapidly moving team environment.
Qualifications
Specific Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
3+ years developing mobile applications (Android or iPhone/iPad)
Significant experience with UI development for mobile applications desired
3+ years with PHP, Ruby, Java, Objective-C or other OOP language
3+ years working with database systems ? MySQL, Oracle, or other relational DBMS
3+ years with UNIX / Linux environment
3+ years with Javascript, CSS, HTML, and AJAX
Experience with jQuery, JSON, XML, and REST desired
Experience with Apache web server desired
Experience with software version control system ? Subversion, Mercurial, or other SCM tools
Strong communication and personal skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to participate and cooperate in a team environment
Educational Requirements:
Four year degree in Computer Related field required (Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering, Information Systems)
