Job Title ? Mold Repair Technician / Piqua



General Responsibilities:

The Mold Repair Technician will report to the Mold Repair Engineer. They will be responsible for all tasks assigned by the Mold Repair Engineer. They will work with the Molding Department and Tool Engineering on a regular basis. This person will be responsible for all mold related repair and ECN duties as specified by the Mold Repair Engineer and the U.S. Tooling Manager. They will be expected to adapt to the needs of the department and grow in knowledge and ability in the tasks assigned.



Examples of Typical Activities

Perform mold PM?s
Repair Molds
Vent injection molds on weekly basis.
Other mold maintenance . ECN tasks assigned by the Mold Repair Engineer.



Required Experience

Graduate of Technical High School program in Machining Competencies. Associate Degree or Certificate from a recognized

Tool Machining program a plus. Working knowledge of basic machine shop equipment (i.e. mill, grinder, lathe, cutoff saw, drill press etc.). Minimum of 2 year?s experience in a tool shop.



Desired Technical Competencies

Experience with TIG welding
Knowledge of electrical / hydraulic circuitry.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Current Ohio Driver?s License.
Must own or be able to purchase the basic toolmaker tools needed to perform the assigned tasks.
Exposure to injection molding a plus.
Exposure to Pro-e, CAD and or CAM a plus.
Ability to drive or learn to properly operate a fork lift truck and overhead crane system.
Must have good communication skills and work well with co-workers.
