ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSThe Compliance Specialist (Documents) is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of documents used by customers to ensure that residential mortgage loans are being in made in compliance with all Federal and State laws in addition to Agency and Investor expectations while supporting and improving the quality, accuracy and availability of disclosure products offered by the company. Primary responsibilities and objectives include:
Improve the quality, accuracy and availability of disclosures used in Encompass and the Encompass Documents Solution for both initial and closing disclosures.
Perform requirements research and coordinate with legal team members on clarifying requirements around form development
Perform Quality Assurance testing of forms to ensure availability, applicability and accuracy of forms.
Coordinate internal and external communications related to form updates
Maintain internal compliance documentation

COMPETENCIES
Education/Experience/Knowledge
3-5 years of professional experience in residential mortgage lending form development
Experience directly related to mortgage compliance technology products and services, including knowledge of loan origination systems and residential mortgage loan documents. Knowledge of Encompass360 and/or Encompass Documents Solutions a plus.
Strong knowledge of federal, multistate, agency and investor disclosure requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills, including Word
