Job Description:
The production branch of Sympoz - a fast-growing Denver-based online video education startup that helps people follow their passions and learn from renowned experts - seeks a versatile and professional artist to brand, design and animate motion graphics for core educational content and promotional material. Applicant will have a proven track record of learning quickly and adapting to a fast changing work environment. Ability to take direction and run with it. Drive to contribute ideas and collaborate in a group.
Job Requirements
- Minimum two years motion graphics experience on commercial video projects for broadcast or internet
- Expert in After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Well-versed in typography, composition and color theory
- Demonstrates traditional graphic design training
- Proficient in 3-way color correction
- Excels in keying, rotoscoping and motion tracking
- Can quickly develop concepts and effectively realize them through animation
- Proficient in Premiere, Final Cut or equivalent non-linear editing software
- Extremely well organized, patient and adaptable
- Well-versed in post-production best practices for video
- Delivers on time and on budget, working alone or in a group
- Works well in a fast-paced, startup environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrates experience visualizing difficult concepts through educational infographics
- Has modeling, texturing & lighting experience in Cinema 4D, 3D Studio Max or equivalent
- Is proficient in sound editing, mixing and equalization
- Has experience with InDesign
- Can tailor material for web delivery and distribution
- Has a sense of humor and plays well with others
