MSP Sales Executive
Dorado Software (http://doradosoftware.com) is a leading provider of Service Provider Operational Support Systems (OSS) software. The Redcell Suite of network and service management products automates network operations and enables Service Providers to quickly and easily add and manage new revenue-generating services.
The MSP Sales Executive shall have responsibility selling Dorado's OSS solutions to Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Define territory plan for the region
Identify key accounts and opportunities in the region
Identify and recruit key partners in the region
Coordinate resources required to execute sales opportunities and support them from a technical sales executive perspective
Engage with customers and marketing to understand market trends
Participate in Management Team activities to define and improve internal processes
Display a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Work with the Support Teams to manage and communicate customer commitments and expectations
Perform Competitor Analysis and provide key intelligence to the sales and marketing teams
Maintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets
Establishing and maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales
Develop and deliver sales presentations, demonstrations and close sales in a professional manner by:
Completely understanding the customer's technical needs and requirements
Developing sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products and services
Making presentations and demonstrations for clients, OEMs, users, partners, etc.
Developing technical presentations and workshops
Maintaining up-to-date awareness of activities, industry trends & competitive products
Making regular calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads
Establishing long-term, ongoing repeat relationships
Acting to close deals and finalize contacts
Meeting established sales quotas and revenue goals
Education
B.A., B.S., or M.S. in Engineering, Sciences or Business
Experience
Proven experience selling strategic software
Experience in selling OSS/Network Management software
Experience working for a MSP is a plus
Application Software implementation experience (commercial software experience preferred)
Required Skills
Knowledge of telecommunications and networking industries
Knowledge of cloud and SaaS offerings
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills/
Ability to effectively function in a fast paced and mission critical environment
Experience Creating and Presenting Slide Presentations
Willingness and ability to rapidly learn new technologies and tool sets
Ability to travel for varying periods of time
