MTS Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation and Regression SeaMicro
Candidate will be part of Quality Assurance Team and responsible for automation and regression for our Data Center Server Solution product.Responsibilities:
Automating test plans for Ethernet, Storage and Compute features.
Build automation libraries and APIs for common tasks.
Running regression and doing postmortem on the failures
Documenting scripts, configurations, procedures, test results, and defects.
Working with Engineering to debug defects reported during regression testing and verifying the fix.
Support and enhance automation framework
Qualifications:
Expert at automating test cases using common scripting language/tool e.g. Tcl/Expect, Perl, Python.
Expert at writing libraries for common tasks.Experience working on a product in a system company.
Experience testing Networking and/or Storageand/or Server product.
Experience automating on Linux platform.
Must possess strong debugging and organization skills.
2-4 years of experience with a BS degree in CS, EE, or Computer Engineering or 1-2 years of experience with MS degree in CS, EE, or Computer Engineering.
