Job Responsibilities
--This position will be responsible for preparing textual content for websites (including feature articles, advertising copy, database content, links, FAQs, etc.). This position will report to the VP of Marketing.
--Prepare textual content for websites (including feature articles, advertising copy, database content, links, FAQs, etc.). Prepare textual content for e-newsletters.
--Design web forms.
--Manage multimedia and web content for global LDR portals in coordination with regional marketing managers.
--Specify the multimedia content needed to support or work alongside textual content.
--Locate and select appropriate, existing multimedia content, including still images, animations, music and video.
--Liaise with multimedia specialists in the creation of any new multimedia content.
--Use metadata and other methods to optimize search engine positions.
--Manage the LDR US iPad sales support program
--Attend/support corporate meetings and industry trade shows.
Desired Skills & Experience
--Education requirements
--Bachelor in Marketing, Communications, or Engineering or Science degree or minimum of ten years of experience in website development, multimedia management or medical device marketing required.
--Experience requirements
--Minimum of 5 years experience in multimedia development and project management
--Experience in orthopedic/spine industry, or other medical device desired.
--Experience with website architecture and development
--Must have a high-level understanding of current web technologies (including .NET, .HTML, CSS, DNN, etc.)
--Experience with working with Web and multimedia authoring and production software and other graphic and desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, etc.
--Experience in using a computer required. Familiarity with common software programs (e.g., Word, Excel and Power Point) required.
